Anti Languages and the Anti Indian Tribes
"Anti" is an alternate name for the Arawakan Indian tribes of Peru (the Ashaninka, Machiguenga, Nomatsiguenga, Caquinte, and Yanesha.)
It comes from the Incan word anti, meaning "east," because these tribes collectively lived to the east of Incan lands.
