Arasa (Arasas)

"Arasa" is an alternate name for the Arasaeri tribe, one of the subgroups of the Huachipaeri people of Peru. Arasa is actually their name for the river that runs through their traditional territory (called "Marcapata" in Spanish), and Arasaeri means "people of the river."
