Deadose
"Deadose" was the name of a small Native American band of southeast Texas.
They were closely associated with the Bidai tribe and are often considered to have
been a Bidai subgroup. Neither the Deadose nor the Bidai exist as distinct tribes today. These
groups were devastated by epidemics in the 18th-century and the survivors were absorbed
into the Caddo and Atakapa tribes.
