Mondé
There are several different South American tribal names spelled "Mondé" in English:
1) Mondé, an alternate name for the Salamai tribe of Brazil.
2) Mundé, an alternate name for the Aikana tribe of Brazil.
3) Monde, an anthropological/linguistic term for a branch of the Tupi language family
which includes the Salamai language.
The Salamai and Aikana tribes have little relation to each other and speak completely different languages,
but it's possible that the name "Mondé" in both cases has the same origin. Neither tribe refers to themselves
by this name.
