Nulhegan Tribe

"Nulhegan" is the name of one of the bands or subgroups of the Abenaki tribe, located in what is now Vermont. The name Nulhegan is a corruption of an Abenaki place name, gelhigan, which means "log trap." The people of this band are also known as Nulheganock.
