Viceita (Viceíta)
"Viceita" is an alternate name for the Bribri and Cabecar tribes of Costa Rica and Panama.
This was an older, colonial name for these tribes and is not used by these indigenous communities today.
Its origin is not clear; it was probably a Spanish corruption of a Chibchan place name or band name.
