Witotoan Language Family (Bora-Witoto)

The Witotoan languages are spoken in the rainforests of Colombia, Peru and Brazil. Some have suggested the Witotoan language family may be distantly related to the Cariban languages and/or the Macro-Ge languages, but the evidence for this is very slight.

Witotoan languages include:

  • Boran Languages
  • Bora
  • Muinane
  • Witoto-Ocaina Languages
  • Ocaina
  • Witoto
  • Native Languages
