Hopi Indian Language

The Hopi are Pueblo people, descendants of the ancient Anasazi civilization, but their language is Uto-Aztecan, more closely related to Nahuatl than to the languages of the other Southwestern pueblos. The Hopi language is spoken by more than 5000 people in what is now Arizona.
