The Haudenosaunee tribe
Q: Do you have any information on the Haudenosaunee
tribe. Is there a website I
can access for my project. I am a 4th grader.

A: The Haudenosaunee are not a tribe, they are
a confederacy of tribes. They are more commonly known
as the Iroquois Confederacy. The Haudenosaunee or
Iroquois tribes originally included the Mohawk,
Seneca, Oneida, Onondaga, and Cayuga tribes. Later the
Tuscarora tribe joined the Iroquois Confederacy, and
today they are known as the Six Nations.
You can learn about the Iroquois at sites like these:

http://www.rom.on.ca/digs/longhouse/
Good luck!
