Q: I believe i sent an e-mail before. Can you please
tell what language this name is Na Kwi Si there are
surposed to be little ( ' ) astros above the i's.

A: Our best guess is that this is probably a slightly corrupted
form of the Cherokee name Noquisi (pronounced similar to noke-see, also sometimes
spelled Nokwsi or Nokwisi,) which means "star."
