Yurok Cars?
Q: I'm in 5th grade and reading your webpage about the Yuroks for school.
What do you mean by the Yuroks had cars?

A: Thanks for writing. The Yurok Indians are not extinct. There
are still Yurok people today, and they drive cars and
watch television, just like other people in America do.
In the past, as our website explains, the Yuroks
usually traveled in canoes, which some people still
enjoy today. There were no cars in Native America OR in Europe
before the 1800's.
Hope that helps!
