Welcome to our Makah vocabulary page! Makah is a Wakashan language, related to other languages like Nuu-Chah-Nulth and Kwak'wala. We have included twenty basic Makah words here, to compare with related American Indian languages. You can find more Makah Indian words in our online picture glossaries.
