Vocabulary in Native American Languages: Chiwere (Otoe) Words

Welcome to our Chiwere vocabulary page! Chiwere, also known as Ioway-Otoe-Missouri after its three main dialects, is a Siouan language, related to other languages like Ho Chunk and Lakota. We have included twenty basic Ioway and Otoe words here, to compare with related American Indian languages.
