Charles Stinking Bear

This is a newspaper clipping with a picture of Charles Stinking Bear, a Sioux man probably from the Oglala Lakota tribe in South Dakota. He is identified as a chief in the caption on this photograph, and he certainly is wearing a style of horned headdress that was typical of important Sioux men. If anyone has more information about him or his descendants, knows what his Lakota name was, or knows where he is buried please contact Charlie. Thanks!
