Native American languages
"Amoxco" is probably the word that is the origin of the tribal name Amuzgo, a Native American culture of Mexico.
Amoxco was originally a place name in the Nahuatl (Aztec) language, meaning
"mossy place" or "water-weed place," and is pronounced ah-moash-coh.
Some people think the true origin of the name "Amuzgo" might have been Amoxtli instead,
which is an Aztec word for "book."
