"Amubre" is an alternate name for the Bribri tribe of Costa Rica.
It comes from the native name of an important Bribri village in Costa Rica.
The names Amubre or Amubre-Katsi are also used to refer to the dialect
of the Bribri language spoken in this part of Costa Rica.
