Chilion Apaches (Tsiltaden)
"Chilion" was the name of an Apache band of Arizona. They were
Western Apache speakers, also known as Coyoteros. "Chilion" is an English
corruption of the tribal name Tsiltaden, which means "mountainside people."
The Chilion Apaches have merged with other Apache people of Arizona
and no longer exist as a distinct band.
Most Chilion descendents live with the White Mountain Apaches today.
