Northern Algonquin
"Northern Algonquin" is the name of one of the two dialects of the Algonquin language (the other is
known as "Southern Algonquin.") Northern Algonquin is the dialect spoken by most Algonquin communities
today and is more distinct from other Anishinabe languages like Ojibwe than Southern Algonquin is.
