Northern Algonquin

"Northern Algonquin" is the name of one of the two dialects of the Algonquin language (the other is known as "Southern Algonquin.") Northern Algonquin is the dialect spoken by most Algonquin communities today and is more distinct from other Anishinabe languages like Ojibwe than Southern Algonquin is.
