Veraguas
"Veraguas" is an alternate name for the Ngobe-Bugle tribe of Panama. It comes from a placename of Panama that is
part of the traditional Ngobe-Bugle territory. Veraguas may be the corruption of a Ngobe village name, or it may
have been a contraction of the Spanish words for "green waters" (verde and aguas.)
