Welcome to our Aymara vocabulary page! Aymara is an Andean language of Bolivia, Peru and Chile, considered by some to be a distant relative of Quechua. We have included twenty basic Aymara words here, to compare with related American Indian languages. You can find more Aymara Indian words in our online picture glossaries. If you'd like to know an Aymara word that is not in these wordlists, you can take part in our Native American words fundraiser or visit our main Aymara language site for more free resources.
