Chascoso
"Chascoso" is an alternate name for the Asheninka tribe. It is a name that was given to them by Spanish settlers,
and its origins are unclear-- chascoso means "matted hair" in Spanish, but the Ashaninka people have never worn
matted or clumped hair styles, so perhaps this was originally a corruption from some other word.
