Chunchu
"Chunchu" is an alternate name for the Ashaninka tribe. It comes from a Quechua word
meaning "forest dwellers." Although this is not an inherently negative word, it has been used pejoratively
in Peruvian Spanish, and is not preferred by most Ashaninka people.
