Golden Lake First Nation
"Golden Lake" is the name of one of the Algonquin First Nations of Quebec.
This is the English name of the lake on whose shores the people live.
In their own language, their name for their community is Pikwàkanagàn, which means "hilly place of evergreens."
The Golden Lake Algonquins speak a Northern Algonquin dialect.
