Native American Indian name

Kompa
"Kompa" is an alternate name for the Ashaninka tribe. Many Ashaninka people do not prefer this term,
considering it derogatory. (It is widely believed to have come from the Inca word t'ampa, meaning "unruly,"
although it might also have been a corruption of an Ashaninka band name,
Tambo.)
