Pawokti
The Pawokti were a small Native American band of Alabama state. Most historians consider them to have been kinfolk of the
Alibamu Indian tribe, whose ranks they later merged into. Other spellings of their tribal name included Pau-woc-te, Pauwagta,
and Pawactas.
