"Pikwakanagan" is the name of one of the Algonquin First Nation of Quebec. They have also been known by the English name Golden Lake First Nation. PikwÓkanagÓn is their name in their own language, which means "hilly land of evergreens." The Pikwakanagan Algonquins speak a Northern Algonquin dialect.
