Pyta Jovai (Pyta-Jovai)

"Pyta Jovai" is an alternate name for the Ayoreo tribe of South America. This is the name for the tribe in the language of their Guarani neighbors in Paraguay. It means "talons" or "clawed feet," and implies ferocity in war.
