Yavita (Baniwa-Yavita)
"Yavita" is an alternate spelling for the Yavitero tribe of Venezuela.
Sometimes it has also been used to refer to the neighboring Bare and
Mandawaka tribes as well, even though they are culturally and linguistically
distinct. The region of southern Venezuela where these tribes live is called Yavita, and
therefore they are all sometimes referred to by this name.
