Rikbaktsa Indian Language
Rikbaktsa is a Je language of South America,
still spoken by only a few dozen older people in Brazil. It has SOV word order.
Their tribal name means "human beings" in their own language, and it has been spelled many different ways including Rikbaktsá, Rikbakta,
Ricbacta, Rikpaktsa, Rikpaktsá, Rikbatsa, Rikbaksa, Rikpakcá, Ribaktsa, Rikbaksta, Aripaktsa, Erikbatsa, Erikpatsa, Erikbatsá, Erikpatsá, Aripaktsá,
Erigpactsá, Erigpaktsá, and Erikbaktsá. They are sometimes also referred to by the outside terms Canoeiro or Orelhas de Pau.
