Macro-Ge languages are primarily spoken in the rainforests of Brazil and Bolivia.
Some linguists have linked them with the
Panoan,
Tupian,
and/or Cariban language families,
resulting in a larger combined stock called "Ge-Pano-Carib" or "Ge-Tupi-Carib." These theories
are not accepted by everyone, however.
