Indian story

Welcome to our Aikana vocabulary page! Aikana is a native language of Brazil, considered by some linguists to be a distant relative of the Arawakan languages. We have included twenty basic Aikana words here, to compare with other American Indian languages. You can find more Aikana Indian words in our online picture glossaries. If you'd like to know an Aikana word that is not in these wordlists, you can take part in our Indian words fundraiser or visit our main Aikana language site for more free resources.
