Pichis
"Pichis" is the name of one of the dialects of the Asheninka language. It is closely related to the
Pajonal and
Perene
dialects and is often grouped together with them, although some linguists consider Pichis Asheninka to be a distinct language.
Pichis is the native name of one of the rivers in the Asheninka tribal area, and Pichis Asheninka is the dialect spoken
by communities near this river.
