What's new on our site today!

Welcome to our Waorani vocabulary page! Waorani is an indigenous language of Peru. It is a language isolate, not known to be related to any other languages. We have included twenty basic Waorani words here, to compare with other American Indian languages. You can find more Waorani Indian words in our online picture glossaries. If you'd like to know a word that is not in these wordlists, you can take part in our Native American words fundraiser or visit our main Huaorani language site for more free resources.
