What's new on our site today!
Welcome to our Wappo vocabulary page! Wappo is an indigenous language of California. It is a language isolate, not known to be related to any other languages; however, some linguists have suggested it may be related to Yuki. We have included twenty basic Wappo words here, to compare with other American Indian languages. If you need to know a Wappo word that is not currently on our page, you can take part in our American Indian words fundraiser or visit our main Wappo language site for more free resources.
