What's new on our site today!
Welcome to our Warao vocabulary page! Warao, also known as Warau, is an indigenous language of Suriname and Guyana. It is a language isolate, not known to be related to any other languages. We have included twenty basic Warao words here, to compare with other American Indian languages. If you need to know a Warao word that is not currently on our page, you can take part in our Native American words fundraiser or visit our main Warao language site for more free resources.
