Vocabulary in Native American Languages: Molale Words

Welcome to our Molale vocabulary page! Molale, also known as Molalla, was an Oregon Indian language. Few records of the language remain, but some linguists group it together with the Penutian languages, possibly related to other languages like Klamath and Coos. We have included twenty basic Molale words here, to compare with related American Indian languages. If you need to know a Molale word that is not currently on our page, you can take part in our translation of Native American languages fundraiser or visit our main Molale language site for more free resources.

Thanks for your interest in Native American languages!
